What should I do if the temperature difference between the inlet and outlet of the water cooled industrial chiller is small?
Technicians stated that when users use water-cooled chillers, they encounter this situation: the current inlet temperature is 24 ℃, and the outlet temperature is 23 ℃. The temperature difference is too small to meet user needs. There are several main reasons for the small difference in inlet and outlet water temperature:
1. The output cooling capacity of a water-cooled chiller is small, such as if the unit itself has faults or is not fully loaded. These can be preliminarily judged by observing the operating current and other parameters of the chiller.
2. It may also be due to poor heat transfer performance, such as severe scaling on the heat transfer tube, which affects the heat exchange of the chiller. This can be determined by observing the heat transfer temperature difference between the water temperature and the evaporation temperature.
3. The water flow rate of a water-cooled chiller is too high, which can be judged by observing the water pressure difference between the inlet and outlet of the evaporator, as well as the operating current of the water pump.
4. After troubleshooting the above issues, you can consider whether the sensor or thermometer is inaccurate.
How to ensure the stable cooling effect of industrial chillers? The following points need to be noted:
a. Regularly inspect the compressors of industrial chillers;
b. Regularly clean the condenser and evaporator of industrial chillers;
c. Regularly inspect various valves of industrial chillers;
d. Regularly replace the lubricating oil of industrial chillers;
e. Regularly replace the dry filter of the industrial chiller unit;
